Danish TV and stereo maker Bang & Olufsen on Wednesday said it expects double-digit revenue growth in the 2021/22 financial year as it reported fourth-quarter sales in line with preliminary figures released earlier this month.

Revenue increased by 31% in local currencies to DKK 2,629m. EBIT before special items amounted to DKK 38m, equivalent to a margin of 1.4%, up 16.4pp compared to 2019/20. Free cash flow was DKK 119m, driven by revenue growth and lower net working capital.

Bang & Olufsen on Thursday maintained its full year guidance after posting double-digit sales growth for a third quarter in a row helped by marketing initiatives and higher demand for home entertainment.

With revenue growth of 16% in local currencies, the company delivered double-digit year-on-year growth for the third quarter in a row. It was also the second consecutive quarter with positive EBIT and positive free cash flow. The Q3 results were driven by targeted sales and marketing initiatives, improved channel performance and high demand for home entertainment products.
