How ADX Strong Trend Alerts Work
The Average Directional Index (ADX) measures trend strength on a 0–100 scale without regard to direction. An ADX below 20 indicates a ranging, trendless market. Above 25 signals the beginning of a genuine trend. Above 40 indicates a strong, high-conviction directional move.
