15 January 2026 – Alstom, global leader and Canada's national champion in smart and sustainable mobility, has reached an agreement valued at 2.3 billion CAD (approximately 1.4 billion euros)1 with the Toronto Transit Commission to provide 70 New Subway Trains (NSTs) for the Toronto subway network. The contract includes options for up to 150 additional trainsets as needed.
15 January 2026 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a contract for the delivery of 26 additional double-decker trains of the Coradia Max type to the Landesanstalt Schienenfahrzeuge Baden-Württemberg (SFBW). The order also includes an agreement for the maintenance of the vehicles until the end of 2055. The order value for the additional 26 trains and the long-term full-service contract is around 500 million euros1. The trains are scheduled to be delivered from mid to late 2028.

26 December 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a contract with the Railway Transport Regulatory Agency (ARTF) for the supply of 47 DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) passenger trains, 33 long-haul and 14 short-haul, aimed for the Mexico City–Querétaro–Irapuato and Saltillo–Monterrey–Nuevo Laredo corridors, in Mexico. The ruling was announced on December 15 at a public meeting of the decentralized agency of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation. This project is part of the National Development Plan 2025-2030 and represents a decisive boost for passenger rail mobility in Mexico, connecting key regions in the center and north of the country and consolidating the revival of passenger train service.
22 December 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a contract with Hellenic Train, the main private railway company in Greece, for the supply of 23 Coradia Stream Electric Multiple Units (EMUs). The contract, valued at €393 million, includes associated maintenance services over a period of 10 years. Eleven trains are designated for suburban commuter routes, while the remaining twelve will serve long-distance intercity travel. The maximum speed of the trains will be 160 km/h. Design and production of the trains will be executed in Italy by Alstom Savigliano manufacturing site.
18 December 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart sustainable mobility, as part of the TransitLinX Alliance, has been awarded a 1.0 billion euro share (1.8 billion Australian dollars) of a 4.9 billion euro contract (8.8 billion Australian dollars) by the Suburban Rail Loop Authority in Melbourne, Australia, for the East section of the Victorian Government's Suburban Rail Loop Project. Alstom scope includes rolling stock, digital infrastructure, signalling and maintenance, as well as overall system integration. The TransitLinX Alliance consists of John Holland, KBR, WSP,RATP Dev and Alstom.

12 November 2025 – Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a landmark agreement with PKP Intercity, Poland's national long-distance rail operator, to deliver 42 Coradia Max double-deck electric multiple units (EMUs) along with 30 years of full-service maintenance. The contract, is worth 6.9 billion złoty (approximately 1.6 billion euro1). The agreement also includes the option for the purchase of 30 additional trains.
22 October 2025 - The SNCF Voyageurs Board of Directors has approved an additional order for 30 new-generation Avelia Horizon very high-speed trains for close to 1.4 billion euros1, as well as options for up to 20 additional trains. First deliveries are scheduled for 2031.

9 September 2025 – Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, today announced that NJ TRANSIT has exercised options to purchase an additional 200 Multilevel III commuter cars and 12 ALP 45 dual-power locomotives. The total value of this purchase is approximately 1.0 billion euro[ 1 ] (1.1 billion USD). NJ TRANSIT is the nation's largest statewide public transportation agency and its third largest agency overall with nearly 270 million passenger trips each year.

26 August 2025 – Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been commissioned to supply 234 Metropolis metro cars (39 trainsets of 6 cars each) and Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system with five years of maintenance service, by Larsen & Toubro Limited, India. The total value for the supply of these products, solutions and services amounts to a few hundred million euros for Alstom. Larsen & Toubro India was recently awarded the contract by Mumbai Metro Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) to provide Integrated Systems Package for Mumbai Metro Line 4 (Green Line), which includes rolling stock, CBTC signalling and train control, telecommunication, platform screen doors, and depot machinery & plant with five years of maintenance. L&T has partnered with Alstom for the rolling stock and signalling system with five years of maintenance.
