AI setup
Everything for connecting your own AI to Stock Alarm, in one place. What your AI can do
1. Chat with your AI in the AI tab
Open the AI tabConnect your AI
Your own Claude, ChatGPT or Google agent answers here with live Stock Alarm data, on the plan you already have. One command, about a minute. No key needed: this is separate from the MCP page.
Needs Node.js 22 or later (nodejs.org). You sign in to your AI with its maker, on your computer; Stock Alarm never sees that login, no API keys are used, and usage stays on your own plan. How it works · AI setup (status and keys).
Turn it off completely. Your AI runs in the background and starts again when you restart. Disconnect stops it until your next login; to stop it for good, paste this into Terminal:
node ~/.stockalarm/canvas-bridge.mjs --stop2. Use Stock Alarm inside your own AI app (optional)
For Claude Code, Codex and other AI apps outside Stock Alarm. Create a key, then follow your app's steps. Your keys are listed here; revoke any you no longer use.
Use Stock Alarm inside your AI app
Create a key, then paste it where your app's steps say. Your AI keeps using your own plan; the key only links it to your Stock Alarm account. Chatting with your AI in Stock Alarm's AI tab instead? You don't need a key: use the AI tab's one command.
