Saudi Public Transport Company, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the provision of transportation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and internationally. It operates through Passenger Transport, Specialized Services, and Public Transportation Project segments. The company offers urban bus transportation services for passengers on specific lines on the network of roads inside cities; intercity bus transportation services for passengers travelling between cities; and international bus transportation for passengers travelling from cities in the kingdom to the neighboring Gulf and Arab countries including United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Egypt. It also provides bus charter services for umrah pilgrims, tourism and tours at archaeological sites, and school and university trips; and self-driving vehicles and limousine services for corporates and individuals. In addition, the company also transports non-postal parcels and cargo; provides car rental services; operates and maintains trains, metros, motor vehicles, and trucks; and organizes tours. Further, it offers Rekab, a smart on-demand mobility solution for passengers. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
