Grok Bot is a team of always-on AI agents with their own computer. That is the product. SPCX is the stock that owns the AI segment underneath it.
If you searched Grok Bot, that is the sentence you came for. The rest is what it actually does, why a team beats a single chatbot, and what SpaceX's Q2 8-K printed for the AI line that has to pay for this.

What Grok Bot does
SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot on August 11, 2026. The company's words: "AI teammates you can give real work to."
A Bot is not a chat window that drafts an email and leaves you to paste it. It has a persistent cloud computer (browser, filesystem, terminal). It signs into the tools you already use. It finishes the job in the actual app, including sites with no clean API. It only pings you when something needs approval.
You message it like a colleague. No workflow builder required. Same Bot on desktop and iOS. It keeps memory, files, logins, and preferences across turns, so the next job starts where the last one stopped.
Show it a workflow once. It watches, saves the path as a routine, takes your corrections, and can run that process again on its own. SpaceXAI's launch page is the source for every sentence in this section (Introducing Grok Bot; docs overview).
Beta access: SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium. Enterprise is a waitlist.
Why it is a team, not one agent
This is the part most "Grok Bot vs OpenClaw vs Hermes" posts skip.
SpaceXAI says people inside the company run several Bots at once, with one Bot managing the others. A chief of staff on top. A specialist per lane: inbox, expenses, recruiting, bugs, ops. The Bots message each other, share context, and sit in a group chat. You are not the router.
That is why the product is the best AI agent team shipping right now. Not because a blog said so. Because the design is a team with one shared computer, not a lone prompt that forgets you between tabs.
OpenClaw and Hermes are the other names in the search. They are not in the SpaceX 8-K. They are not the product SpaceXAI put on a launch page on August 11. If you came for a bake-off, the filed and launched object is Grok Bot.
How this ties to SPCX AI
SPCX is Space Exploration Technologies Corp. The AI segment is already a real P&L, not a slide.
From the Form 8-K filed August 4, 2026, Exhibit 99.1, quarter ended June 30, 2026:
| Q2 2026 | |
|---|---|
| AI revenue | $2,561 million |
| AI loss from operations | $(1,257) million |
| AI Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) | $1,146 million |
| AI capex | $15,828 million |
| Nameplate compute | 1.4 GW |
| Advertising | $367 million |
| AI solutions and infrastructure | $2,194 million |
Company-wide: revenue $7,814 million, net loss $(541) million, diluted EPS $(0.09). Connectivity still pays the bills ($4,291 million of revenue, $1,656 million of operating income, 12.0 million Starlink subscribers). Space was $962 million.
The exhibit says AI revenue was up 213% sequentially and 247% year over year, "primarily driven by an increase in AI solutions and infrastructure revenues from new Cloud Service Agreements, as well as an increase in Grok and X subscription revenues." Cloud Service Agreements: $14.1 billion of contracted sales, $1.6 billion of incremental AI infrastructure revenue in the quarter.
Two sentences in that same exhibit are the agent story the SEC has so far.
One: SpaceX "announced an agreement to acquire Cursor for $60 billion to accelerate our AI enterprise offerings with one of the most advanced AI coding tools available. We expect to close the deal in the third quarter of 2026."
Two: "Subsequent to the second quarter, released Grok 4.5 in July, our largest and smartest model yet, built to excel at coding, agentic tasks, and knowledge work. The model was trained alongside Cursor and incorporates our 1.5 trillion-parameter V9 foundation model."
Grok Bot is what you run. Grok 4.5 is the model the 8-K says was trained for agentic work. Cursor is the $60 billion coding-agent deal still listed as expected Q3. SPCX is the ticker that prints the AI segment those three sit on.
The 10-Q (same day) is how Grok got onto the SpaceX income statement: xAI merger closed February 2, 2026, common-control share exchange, no enterprise value disclosed. Note 20: Cursor Compute Agreement, GPU capacity, "collaborate to improve existing models, including Grok." Q2 net amount "not material."
Grok Bot is not a word in that 8-K. Do not pretend it is. The launch page is dated August 11, a week after the quarter's earnings exhibit. Watch the next 8-K for the product name. Watch the AI segment for whether the spend shows up as seats.
The live tape
Stock Alarm live ticker, August 14, 2026, 5:18 AM CT (cash session closed): SPCX $141.29, down $4.86 (−3.33%). Extended $142.42, up $1.13 (+0.80%). Previous close $146.15. Open $143.62. Day range $139.83–$145.02. 52-week range $104.83–$225.64. Volume 117.96 million versus 122.74 million average. Market cap $1.85 trillion on the live ticker. Where the ticker and the 10-Q disagree on shares or earnings, the 10-Q wins.
10-Q cover, July 28, 2026: Class A 7,696,293,669 and Class B 5,485,486,276 outstanding.
Cursor is still an announced agreement, expected Q3 2026. Grok Bot is a launched beta, not an 8-K line item. Treat those as two clocks.
What to watch
- Grok Bot seats. The launch is real. A 10-Q that breaks out agent seats, SuperGrok, or "Grok Bot" is the next filing fact.
- Cursor close. $60 billion, expected Q3. An Item 2.01 8-K is the close. Silence is also a fact.
- AI capex versus AI revenue. $15.8 billion of capex against $2.6 billion of AI revenue in one quarter. Grok Bot is one reason that spend exists. The segment has to earn it.
- Connectivity. $4.3 billion of revenue and $1.7 billion of operating income. That is the cash engine next to the AI loss.
Adjusted EBITDA is non-GAAP. The 8-K reconciles net loss of $(541) million to Adjusted EBITDA of $3,538 million. Do not treat it as a substitute for the GAAP loss.
Where Stock Alarm Pro fits
The job is not to reread a launch blog. The job is to watch SPCX while Grok Bot is the product people are searching and the AI segment is the P&L that has to clear.
Set the alert on the symbol. When the next 8-K hits, open it from the terminal. The Grok Bot description above is from SpaceXAI's August 11 launch page. The AI numbers are from Exhibit 99.1. The price is whatever Stock Alarm is printing on SPCX right now.
