Zillow's financials continue to improve, but investors aren't impressed enough to buy the stock. The long-term trajectory hasn't changed and this is one area AI disruption is likely to impact anytime soon.

Zillow's rentals and mortgages businesses are growing quickly. Yet a projected earnings shortfall drove many investors to sell.

Zillow faces a number of lawsuits from competitors and consumers targeting different parts of its business.

Needham analyst Bernie McTernan reiterated a Hold rating on the company following the company's fourth-quarter results and first-quarter guidance released Tuesday.

Revenue came in at $654 million, versus estimates of $650.29 million. Adjusted EPS came in at 39 cents, versus estimates of 40 cents.
